After huge hit film 'Pelli Choopulu', Vijay Devarakonda come up with one more Entertainer film 'Dwaraka'. It is Vijay's first commercial entertainer film directed by Srinivas Ravindra. Legend Cinemas banner produced it. Movie is released on 3rd March, 2017.
Vijay Devarakonda plays a small-time thief. He believes Money is bigger than anything. He steal and rob for living. One day, He hides himself in an Apartment Dwaraka, He fall asleep and everyone thinks that he is a Swamiji and start praising him by calling him Swamy Krishnanand. He soon become popular in surrounding area and start earning easy money.
Few wicked people, who know about his past, blackmail him and enjoy his money. How Our Hero Deal with them and being a fake Baba, how he win his believer's heart is rest of the story.
Vijay Devarakonda is perfect fit in Fake Baba's role. We all seen him in simple characteristic roles in his previous film, but for the first time, He will be seen in proper regular commercial entertainer film. This film has all the commercial ingredients with heart touching emotions. Vijay has proved that he can dance and can do fights. His acting skills are perfect and he carried the whole film on his shoulders. It's a Trailer made film for Vijay Devarakonda and gate-way for more commercial entertainer films.
Pooja Jhaveri is beautiful in this film. She got a meaty role to perform. The whole film revolves around Fake Baba Krishnanand and Krishnanand revolves around our female actress Pooja Jhaveri. She performed well.
30 Years Prudhvi and Raghu Babu did hilarious role in this film. Baahubali Prabhakar did villain role and his acting skills are up to the mark. Murali Sharma did very important and Key role in this film. Uttej, Surekha Vani and others did supporting roles in this film.
Coming to Technicians, Songs and music by Sai Karthik were decent. The Cinematography by Shyam K Naidu is major asset for this film. Visuals are crystal clear and colourful. Editing could have been better. The narration is slow and dragging. Few scenes can been be chopped. The basic story of the film is not new to the society but commercial ingredients made it a perfect entertainer. The Emotional scenes in the second half will dig deep. Director Srinivas Ravindra has taken every minute care about the film and delivered a wholesome entertainer.
Dwaraka is a reflection of Today's society as it showcases present happening in the society. The undercurrent message about good and bad side of fake baba is a Eye-opener for many deliverers. Vijay Devarakonda did a wonderful job portraying fake baba's role.
The Concept of the film is fresh and above all, adding commercial elements to such kind of film is a risk. Director Srinivas Ravindra top-up everything with perfect dose and made a perfect entertainer. Dwaraka, An Eye opener for Believers.
