Pavan MOVIE JOCKEY
Mister is a Emotional Romantic Family entertainer film. Varun Tej has rendered a Boy-Next-Door character with family emotions. Lavanya Tripati will be seen as a typical country girl and Hebah Patel in Modern outfits. Srinu Vytla directed this visual treat venture under Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. The Movie is released on 14th April, 2017. Mickey J Meyer composed songs and KV Guhan handled the Cinematography.
Mister is a Love journey of a young confident guy Chai (Varun Tej) from Paris to India. He falls in love with Meera (Hebah Patel) in Paris at very first sight. After spending Gala time with Meera, Our Hero comes to know about her boy-friend Siddharth (Prince). Keeping aside his feeling, Chai congratulate Meera and wish for a Happy married life.
After few days, Meera calls Chai with a painful voice. Chai fly to India to help her. In this process, Chai meets Chandramukhi (Lavanya Tripati). Chandramukhi is a innocent girl and few goons chasing her. Being a man with strong heart, Chai helps her and decide to help her all the time.
Parallely, Meera's brother (Harish Uthaman) and Chandramukhi's father (Murali Sharma) will be after Chai to Kill him. How Chai handled the situation is rest of the story.
Varun Tej is far better in this film than compared with his previous films. The character was totally designed keeping his body language in mind. He just delivered the character with ease. The fighting episodes are very strong and Varun Tej does them well. His costumes, His dialogues and fights elevated his character to the core. His character is one of the biggest highlight in this film.
Lavanya Tripati looks cute and she is perfect. The traditional look suits her. Hebah Patel is good in her role but she look didn't fit the bill. It's look like Varun Tej and Hebah Patel were not made for each other.
Murali Sharma, Nagineedu looks Shafi funny in those get-ups. Nikithin Dheer character is very strong and he given his best. Harish Uttaman character is good.
30 years Industry, Prudhvi and his direction team will surely tickle your funny bones. He is the only saving grace for this film. Raghu Babu, Srinivas Reddy and Tejaswi Madivada characters are hilarious. The 'Oopiri' spoof is hilarious. Others did as required.
KV Guhan's cinematography is one of the biggest highlight in this film. The visuals will treat your eyes. The locations are very rich and lot of money was spend while making the film. Mickey J Meyer has given good music for this film. Songs are good but were not required for the film as it increased the length of the film. Background score is in sync with the emotion of the film. Editing is poor and many scenes can be chopped for better viewing. Dialogues are good.
It's a routine regular story with predictable screenplay with Srinu Vytla trade mark comedy and direction. First half of the film is very good with tickling jokes and hard hitting fights. Interval bang will excite you to watch the second half. But Second Half is total disaster with logic less scenes. Too Many characters and length of the film made second half worthless.
In an Interview, Director Srinu Vytla said that he didn't did any spoof kind of scenes in Mister but in real, The whole first half is filled with rotten spoofs. Director Also said that Mister film will be fresh when compared with his previous films. But in real, Mister is same old Srinu Vytla formula film with nothing new.
Varun Tej character and Performance, 30 years Prudhvi comedy, KV Guhan's cinematography, Lavanya Tripati's performance and Mickey J Meyer's music were good highlights in this film.
The length of the film and total second half has spoiled the whole cook. Too Many chase sequences, Too Many characters, Unnecessary King costume get-up and lengthy scenes has spoiled the film in second half.
Overall, Mister may suffer at Box office collections.
