Verdict - Rakshashi is a scary flick with many surprises elements.

Rakshashi is a sequel of super hit film 'Calling Bell' which was released on 2015. Popular Glam Doll Poorna did the main lead role and Abhimanyu Singh will be seen in curical role. Abhinav Sardar and Geetanjali also did important roles. Panna Royal directed this film under Dream Catchers entertainment banner. 


Story :


Poorna, Abhinav Sardar and their kids will be shifted to a haunting Banglow. Poorna's Grand mother Geetanjali sense something wrong in the house and with the help of a swamiji, She discovers that a evil spirit is living in this haunting Banglow.


How Poorna and her family survives from Evil spirit is rest of the story.


Performance :


Poorna is perfect apt for this film. Her character got two different shades and she did with ease. More or less, she is the major highlight in this film. Whole movie runs on her character and she delivered it with perfection.


Abhimanyu Singh also did one of the important role. His character duration is very limited but he plays very important role. His get-up and make-up is terrific and mass audiences will love him.


Abhinav Sardar, Geetanjali and Kids will be seen in supporting roles. Comedians, Shani, Tagubothu Ramesh, Prabhas Sreenu, Eerojulo Sai, Phani and Priya will tickle your funny bones.


Technicians :


Vinod Yajamanya's music plays very significant role in this film. Background score has taken this film to next level. Cinematography by P. Karna is another highlight. The Graphics video song is perfect and well shot. Visuals and locations are in sync with the script. Editing could have been better as there are many unnecessary scenes. Story is routine and regular but screenplay is very engaging with many twists and turns. The Climax episode is very fresh and new on Telugu screen. Panna Royal Idea and it's execution will definitely mint money at box office. Mass audiences will love this film as it got many scary elements and hilarious scenes.

Analysis :


Rakshashi is typical Mass horror flick with few comedy punches. The Horror graphics, background score, Poorna's glamour, Abhimanyu Singh and the climax will make this film watchable. B and C class audiences will love this film for sure.


Rakshashi is a scary flick with many surprises elements. One time watchable.
