Third film in the Singam franchise, 'Singam 3' released world wide on 9th February. Tamil super Star Suriya and Anushka played the main lead roles. Shruthi Hassan, Suman, Radhika Sharath Kumar, Sharath Saxena and Sharath Babu played important roles. Thakur Anoop Singh did an amazing job in this film, He played villain role in this film. Movie is directed by Hari and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada produced it under Studio Green banner.
Movie kick starts with a roaring fight at Mangalore police station. Narasimham (Suriya), An Andhra Police Officer comes to Mangalore to chase Commissioner (Jaya Prakash) murder case. How he solve the murder mystery is rest of the story.
Suriya is Amazing in this Mass Masala film. His roaring fights and dialogues will give you goose bumps. More or less, it's an out and out mass action entertainer film with a pinch of Technology. Suriya nailed it with his out-standing performance.
Anushka did very limited role in this film. She got nothing to offer other than acting as Nirasimham's wife. Shruthi Hassan did a decent job but she didn't suit the role. Radhika Sharath Kumar just did two scenes but powerful ones, Thakur Anoop Singh did main villain role and his role is terrific. Others did as required.
Coming to technicians, Harris Jayaraj's music is very loud but given required fuel to the film. Songs are good on screen and background score is loud but gripping. Cinematography by Priyan is one of the major highlights in the film. The movie runs in jet speed with N number of shots. Telugu dialogues are in sync with the lips and dialogues are very strong. Action episodes are another highlight in this film, Every fight is power packed and visual treat. Story is very routine but speed screenplay brought new look to the film. Both, first and second half are terrific with power packed fights and racy screenplay. It's definitely a Power packed film with director Hari's Mark.
Singam-3 looks very similar to it's prequels, Singam and Singam-2 but still looks fresh. Scenes showcasing power of Indian Police are very strong and gripping. Investigating episodes and tit-for-tat scenes are very entertaining. Hacking episodes looks logical. Though, Anushka and Shruthi Hassan roles look like a speed-breaker for the film, Director Hari managed to entertain us with speed-packed scenes.
The opening scene fight at Mangalore Railway station is one of the biggest highlight fight in this film. Suriya looked terrific in that scene. Action episodes are messy but will be liked by multiplex audiences too.
Though the film is just a commercial action entertainer, there is hidden message in this film. Director Hari cautioned every Indian about Environmental pollution. He said that India is very resourceful Country and don't pollute it.
Overall, It's a pakka Mass commerical entertainer with pinch of family emotions. A perfect film.
