Social media becomes an important aspect for now a days youth, the usage of internet is increasing rapidly, which is weakening our relationships. Vijay Deverakonda, along with his director Shridhar Marri tries to explore this in 'Ye Mantram Vesave'. Problem for both of them is that this one comes after the vijay's blockbuster hit 'Pelli choopulu' and unmatchable movie 'Arjun reddy' and this will have to keep up with high expectations. Let’s see if 'Ye Mantram Vesave' breaks these expectations or not.

Story :

Nikki(Vijay Deverakonda) is a gaming admirer who is very untrustworthy and irresponsible in life. He is player with girls and wastes all his time just hanging out with his friends. One fine day, he meets a girl called Rags(Shivani Singh) in online and decides to seek as romantic partner at any cost. He makes multiple attempts but fails most of the time. Seeing his enthusiasm, Rags gives him a chance and challenges him to find out about her in a video gaming kind of scenario which has multiple levels. Vijay accepts the challenge and starts his search. How does he manage to meet Rags? and what problems does he face in searching rags is the remaining part of the story.

Analysis:

A film like 'Ye Mantram Vesave', which questions ourselves about social media and internet usage it is a good story line but very tough to tell. Shridhar Marri totally disappointed the audience while narrating the story. The biggest problem in the movie is why director actually puts the close-up shots for all actor's in maximum frames of the film, which scared the audience very much. He should first get blamed for choosing this kind of story and Vijay Deverakonda too gets bad remarks to act in this one. Director Shridhar doesn't have any clarity over his story. Director itself written this story. The narration of the film is very naive as there are no gripping moments which keep the audience addicted on to the seats.

Vijay Deverakonda is the only man who will entertain the audience for some extent and Shivani Singh has a major role as the entire film revolves around her. She looks good in certain scenes and does her job well. Production values of the film are below average and as the visuals look clearly old-fashioned. The technology showcased is old-fashioned in the current scenario and this gives an out dated look to the film. Editing is okay and background score is so so. Dialogues are decent.

Plus points :

* Vijay Deverakonda

* Story line

* Dilouges

Minus points :

* Lack of creativity.

* Narration of the story is bad.

* Direction failure in presenting.

* Bad visuals.

Final Point:

On the whole, Vijay Deverakonda's 'Ye Mantram Vesave' is just an below average entertainer which is good only in bits and pieces. The first half is ok, energetic performances of Vijay Deverakonda and Shivaani Singh are the major plus points. On the flip side, a slow paced second half and a flat climax spoil the film completely. Don't watch this film for Vijay Deverakonda you will surely disappoints with his character in the film.
